Story:

<sub>This would be Absints first real race! Sure we had mocked race at the stable sometimes but this was real with real racehorses breed for this kind of purpose! Absint may be a good runner but when Mendo saw the competition her stomach did a flip. She stroke his neck a few times mostly to calm down herself and not the horse, because he wasn't nervous at all.

When it was time to walk down to the gates Absint started to pull in the rains and trotted in a nice comfortable trot. At first he wasn't sure if he would like to get into the gate but with a encourage kick he walked into the small stall an waited. Soon the startboxes started to fill up with snorting horses and trampling hoofs, this made him all excited and Absint himself started to trample the dirt under his hoofs.

The boxdores flew open and Absint threw himself out from the gate and got a really good start, Mendo felt how he was drawn to the leading horse and she held him there, letting him have a fell of his competition.

The final turn came roaring into view and now it was time to see if Absint still had some go in him. Mendo leaned forward and showed him her whip. Absint got the hint and broadened his stride, winning some more ground.</sub>
